The Second A: A Fascinating Series

The Second A: Admiration

It has been as of recent that I’ve heard that admiration is “the cry of a man’s soul.” A man is often drawn to the one that praises and admires him. This is an important secret that every wife should know. If a wife cultivates this skill and practices it daily, it will cause her husband to have a deep desire for her.

Husbands need fresh daily deposits of admiration. Think of your husband having a tank that gets filled of admiration as its ‘gas’. There is a hole in that tank that must filled daily. Everyday, find something specific to admire about your husband.

In the course of daily living, you will find many things to admire about your husband that you will be able to use during your admiration moments. Sooner or later, it will become so much a part of your daily habit. You can hold off on telling your husband all about his weaknesses and focus on telling him about his good qualities. It does help to go over your list from the first A, to assist you in completing this task in the beginning.

Here is an example:
Lets say your husband comes home from work and wants to tell you about his day. Pay attention to the conversation because you are trying to find qualities and actions you can admire. Let's say he mentions a momnet in his day where he 'saved it' by his own critical thinking.  Ask him about it, what he thought of it and what he shared with his work friends, etc. Engage yourself into his conversation. You can also ask him, “Where do you come up with all of these creative ideas? (this is admiration) Its obvious your coworkers thought your ideas were great too. Your boss is lucky to have such a creative person like you.” How sweet is that?

Most women are not into their husband’s work. Aren't we all a little guilty of that? We may not be super interested but it’s a apart of the eight A’s that will rebuild your marriage and your husband’s affection towards you. All wives want that.

If you feel like you can’t understand ways to admire from that example, ask yourself what your husband does with his money? Does he constantly use it on you and the family? Does your husband pay the bills? As an example, after your husband pays the bills, you could say, “ You take good care of the family. I love the way you are responsible and pays the bills on time. Your responsibility to our family gives me lots of security and peace.”

Your husband has virtue. Find it. Magnify it. Put it on a pedestal. Shine a spotlight on it and do it daily.

Men like to be praised about manly things. This includes things he does that is associated with his work, body build, physical strength, smart brain and quick wit. This kind of praise is like oxygen to his body. Wives have the power to keep refilling their husband’s leaky tanks. In return, the husband’s heart will be drawn to the wife.

Keep in mind that filling up your husband’s tank is not about manipulation. It is foolish to brag on another man hoping your husband will get the picture and follow the example you set out for him. It hurts your husband. Men have a natural competition between themselves to see who is the best. Your husband doesn’t need you admiring or lusting over another man’s way of doing things, even if that man is your father. Your husband is the man you were given to love. Your husband needs all the admiration he can get. Remember, his tank needs filling daily.

Use the A in this series as another step in building the relationship with your husband.

Love,
Charlene Favorite
